Delegate Nestor moved to amend the amendment on page 1, line 15, by inserting a new paragraph, to read as follows:

“(A) An opioid drug treatment facility that administers opioid or opioid agonist as part of a medically assisted drug treatment program shall subject all participants to not less than one drug screening per week for the purpose of detecting potential drug interactions that may threaten the health and safety of a participant. If a participant tests positive for a controlled substance other than those utilized by the opioid drug treatment facility, the participant is ineligible to receive medically assisted drug treatment from the facility, if its medical director determines the health and safety of participant is endangered.”
